Several local residents decided to attend a meeting yesterday 11/17/25 held by the Lucas County Economic Developement Corp. whose chief is Matt Heyrman. Also in attendance were Lucas County Commissioners Pete Gerken and Anita Lopez and others.  They asked hard questions of the officials, mostly Heyrman about Data Centers. Here is the skinny.
1. Heyrman says that they were coaching the townships and municipalities about Data Centers coming into the area after "doing a ton of research and trying to work together". Take away: No local NWO government would know anything about Data Centers if Lucas County wasn't coaching them. He calls it "working together". This confirms what the Bee has heard now from shocked residents in Harding, Spencer, Richfield, Monclova, Waterville, Maumee and Oregon. Behind residents backs along with local officials the county was planning an industrial revolution in your back yard.
2. Matt Talks about maintaining quality of life but this is the first time Matt has talked to the public to see what they think aside from friendly media interviews about this. Do these officials get to decide what "quality of life" means for the rest of Northwest Ohio without being very clear to the public that lives in Northwest Ohio and how something of this scale will impact their way of life? Matt seems to think so. Being a PUBLIC SERVANT denotes that this is the first consideration.  The coaching of the local governments was not disclosed to those whom it would have the greatest effect upon, their bosses, THE PUBLIC.
3. THIS ONE IS THE BIG ONE: a direct quote "all local governments that are considering these (Data Centers) have been briefed and had some interest in continued dialogue to move that forward. our job was to present to them this opportunity and then we try to "work together" with local governments to do that"
Which we think means the following.
     1. The county decided what massive tracks (thousands of acres) of rural land they wanted to put Data Centers on.
     2. Your local officials were then approached by the county behind closed doors spear headed by Matt Heyrman and others.
     3. The accommodating zoning was changed or is in the process now by your local officials without any residents really understanding what was going on.
     4. Properties were selected and designated favorable and cleared for Data Centers without any resident in any municipality in Northwest Ohio ever knowing about it.
     5. Your local government officials could be considering a Data Center right now (a 200-1500 acre industrial monster) and you have no idea.
     6. Local officials have known about this for months and maybe over a year, any local official that said they dont know anything about Data Centers or that they have no ability to make these decisions or that they dont know what land was selected or that they cant make zoning changes is in fact not telling the truth.
     7. Local officials who claim they really dont like Data Centers but voted to approve the zoning need to be held accountable............
Water Concerns
The rest of the video has to do with how much water Data Centers use and where it comes from and how it will effect the Erie watershed. The key takeaway is that Toledo would have to run water lines to Data Centers. This will expand Toledos water supply reach. He does not talk about whether the Data Centers water line will be the same line residents would use. We have reason to believe that it would need to be a different line but that is speculative and he never addresses that. He never says who will pay for the millions of gallons of water per day that the Data Centers will use. Regardless the scale of these projects becomes clear.
The size of these Data Centers and the scale of the construction work is astronomical and would effect every utility and the way of life for anyone near one of these facilities and the info given to the public was almost nothing even long after land was selected and zoning was passed or in process. Here is our article about their size https://www.lucascountybee.com/how-big-is-a-data-center.php

At the Bunker Bar Town Hall last Thursday the panel read a statement that said the following and it seems to be justified. Perhaps Data Centers can be in Lucas County but it needs to be put on hold until everyone knows the ramifications. Matt Heyrman was at the Bunker as well.
"There needs to be ultra clear communication about Data Centers by Lucas County and local officials to the residents. There has not been. There is an immoral attempt to force Data Centers into this area. Clearly an unethical use of wealth for the profit of very few at the expense of everyone in the communities without their clear knowledge or consent.
A bureaucracy can become so entrenched that it dissolves all accountability by pointing a finger at another person or department in the same bureaucracy which then does the same until a matter disappears and can never be dealt with because the source of a decision is hidden within a web of misdirection. This steals representative government from the sovereign citizens of the United States and effectively turns state, county and local offices into a bureaucratic tyranny. This is coercion by misdirection. Data Centers will hurt a lot of people. It is imperative to consider these things before anything is contracted, signed, zoned or land use plans approved.
In light of this it would be reasonable to any person that DOES want to govern righteously and without corruption that A COMPLETE BAN AND MORATORIUM be placed on all Data Centers and Advanced Manufacturing or land sales with intent to build data centers and or advanced manufacturing of any kind in each township or municipality in NWO as well as a full, total and complete reversal of all zoning that allows for advanced manufacturing including Data Centers and Solar fields as well as power stations or utility work or digging of any kind related to advanced manufacturing including data centers or solar fields or water transfer systems or electrical power transfer infrastructure related to the same UNTIL THERE IS ADEQUATE TRANSPARENCY AND EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC TO BE ABLE TO EITHER APPROVE OR REJECT THESE PROJECTS."
